The story behind Myloa
My Story
My name is Audrey.
I worked for five years as a veterinary assistant before feeling the need for a different path, something more concrete and more aligned with what I loved to do.
During my first pregnancy, I bought my first sewing machine. During the second, my first embroidery machine. At that time, I already had the desire to create personalized sweatshirts and transform clothes filled with memories. My children simply accelerated this project.
I have always kept their first little clothes. Not out of excessive nostalgia, but because they represented a specific moment, a smell, a stage. Giving them away or reusing them for another baby made no sense to me. So I started to work on them: sewing, embroidery, trials, adjustments… and little by little, the idea took shape.
That’s how Myloa was born: a workshop where I transform the clothes we keep “in a box” into unique pieces to wear.
I work alone, in Wavre, and each creation passes through my hands from start to finish. Nothing is standardized: each sweatshirt depends on your story, your garment, your intention.
My Equipment
In my workshop, I work with professional Brother multi-needle embroidery machines, which allow me great precision and a neat finish on each piece. I use Mighty Hoop magnetic frames to perfectly hold the fabrics, even the most delicate ones, without damaging them. These tools give me the freedom to embroider accurately and transform each memory garment into a durable and quality creation.
The embroiderer behind every memory
My name is Audrey.
Before creating Myloa, I worked for several years as a veterinary assistant.
I loved taking care of animals — but I needed a job that was more hands-on, more creative, more aligned with what touches me.
During my first pregnancy, I bought my first sewing machine.
During the second, my first embroidery machine.
The idea was already there: to create personalized sweatshirts and give new life to the little clothes we keep without knowing what to do with them.
I have always kept my children's first clothes, not out of nostalgia, but because they represented a specific moment, a smell, a stage.
Giving them away or reusing them for another baby didn't make sense to me.
So I started transforming them: sewing, embroidery, assembling… and little by little, the idea took shape.
Today, Myloa is a Belgian workshop for emotional embroidery in Wavre.
I transform the clothes that are stored in a box into unique pieces to wear, visible, precious.
I work alone: each creation passes through my hands from start to finish.
Nothing is standardized: each sweatshirt depends on your story, your garment, your intention.
I also embroider for professionals — logos, limited collections, corporate gifts — because visual identities deserve to be worn with finesse as well.
An embroidery designer guided by emotion

Children's clothing that becomes unique creations
During my first pregnancy, I bought my first sewing machine. During my second, my first embroidery machine. At that point, the idea was already there: to give a new life to clothes that we keep without knowing what to do with them.
That's how my first creations were born.

The name Myloa: a family story
The name Myloa was not chosen at random. It was born from the contraction of my children's first names: Milla and Noah. The Y comes from my own first name, Audrey. This name perfectly summarizes the spirit of the brand: a family creation.

A handmade and non-standardized approach
Today, I work alone in my workshop in Wavre. Each creation passes through my hands from start to finish. Each piece depends on the garment received, the story associated with it, its material, and its details.
An embroidery workshop designed for sustainable creations
Professional equipment for specific patterns
In my workshop, I use professional multi-needle embroidery machines. They produce precise, regular, and durable machine embroidery designs.
Magnetic hoops allow me to hold fabrics without damaging them, even the most delicate ones. This is essential when I work on bodysuits, stretch fabrics, or already worn garments.
This technical requirement allows me to adapt embroidery stitches to each fabric. I can adjust the density, the size of the design, or modify certain elements to maintain visual balance.
Personalized creations for individuals
The majority of my creations are for families. Keepsake sweatshirts, patchwork blankets, weighted stuffed animals made from clothes... each piece tells a story.
I can incorporate different patterns: letters, simple shapes, animals like rabbits, or symbolic motifs. Everything depends on the clothes sent and the desired composition.
The work involves selecting pieces, playing with sizes, balancing colors, and creating a cohesive composition. It's meticulous work, akin to textile goldsmithing.
Also an embroidery designer for professionals
I also work for businesses. Logos, small runs, custom creations... embroidery allows you to enhance a visual identity with a durable result.
I can adapt machine embroidery designs to textile constraints, test different stitches, and adjust embroidery files to ensure optimal quality. Every professional project receives the same attention as personal creations.
The importance of detail in every stitch
Embroidery is not just a technique. Every stitch counts. Too high a density stiffens the fabric. Too low a density makes the design fragile. The choice of stitch therefore depends on the material and the final use.
I always test the designs before embroidering them on the final piece. This step is essential to ensure lasting wear and an aesthetic finish.
A unique creation, never replicated
Unlike mass production, every Myloa creation is unique. Even with similar garments, the result will be different. The embroidery patterns, assemblies and sizes vary.
This uniqueness is part of Myloa's DNA. You don't just choose a model: you have a piece created that doesn't exist anywhere else.
An embroidery designer who is close to her customers
I remain the sole point of contact from start to finish. No outsourcing, no automated chain. I receive the clothes, create the design, and prepare them for shipping.
This close relationship allows me to adjust details, answer questions, and guarantee a finish that meets expectations.
Myloa is therefore more than just a workshop. It is a handcrafted approach led by an embroidery designer who transforms textile memories into lasting creations. Each piece tells a story, each motif has meaning, each stitch helps preserve a memory.
Here, embroidery is not just a simple marking. It's a way of bringing memories to life in a different way.
